Filing Income Tax

Filing income tax return every year is compulsory, for those who has the taxable income on various sources namely;

Heads of Income:-

1. Salary Income
2. Business Income
3. House rent Income

When the employee receive his Form 16 from the Company, he/ she shall file there ITR with-in the due date.

Steps to be taken to file the ITR

while filing the income tax return that is efiling income tax, below steps must be considered.

1. check the Form 26as details for the TDS details,
2. validate the TDS deducted and the actual received in bank
3. review the bank Sb or Fd interest details and tds made
4. check your form 16 (if you’re a salaried), for any missing details like investment, insurance etc
5. any other information which shall report in the ITR

Final steps:

once the every details are ready, make sure to login to Income tax site https://www.incometax.gov.in/ to update

your profile, as you have seen, Income-tax website has completely upgraded with new face.

hence its strongly advise to update all your details as per actuals, like mobile number, email id, photo, address etc.

and also, check your linked bank account for correct refund of your excess TDS deducted.

Submittion of E filing return

once all the details are correctly taken, then you can file your return by click the ITR-1 for Salary and pension.

or if you have income from Business, then need to change the Form to ITR-3,
